“maSedonia” is a mixtape with a diverse range of musical sounds and textures
that define Uzi Key as an artist with his own unique sound over rhythms from different genres.
Each track is named after an exotic fruit and the order of the tracks was decided by monthly fan voting on Instagram,
where they were choosing between two fruits each month past 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each track has a different mood and genre, all encompassed within the urban genre.
To help listeners get into the mood and concept of each track,
“Trading Cards” have been created in the style of Pokemon cards,
describing the mood and theme of each track in a metaphorical way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyrically, the mixtape chronicles the story of someone who feels their city is too small and
needs to leave to grow, with all the good and bad things that come with it.
They are trying to leave their past behind and learn new skills to survive.
The themes of self-improvement, wisdom, self-confidence, and “flexing” are prominent throughout the mixtape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
